Responding to an RFP for an event is essentially making a sales pitch for your city. You have to show that you meet the requirements they are asking for, hotel and venue space, but you also have to go above and beyond to make your offer, stand out from other cities bidding on the same event or convention.

I created a standard visual template for our sales team to customize for their event. I tested out different platforms

to upload that creative to and ultimately landed on LucidPress. Some branded design elements are locked on their end, but only enough to give them flexibility to edit and add their own content. Before the document is published on the web or exported as an mailable PDF, it has to be approved by myself for brand integrity. The system works really well for the sales team and we’ve heard a lot of good feedback from clients.
